Bert Goldstein, director of the MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts and Creativity at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Bill Wade, choreographer for the stage play "Among the Darkest Shadows" and dancers for the play Michelle Sipes, Joshua F. Brown, Dominic Moore-Dunson and Katherine McGaha present a discussion entitled, "Human Trafficking on Stage: Creating 'Among the Darkest Shadows' at Wharton Center." Goldstein discusses why he wanted to bring the show to the Wharton Center. Wade discusses the origins of the play, the social importance of the play, why they geared the show specifically towards students and the story of the play. Snipes, Brown, Moore-Dunson and McGaha discuss the characters they play, how they prepared for the roles and the difficulty of telling a story through dance. The group answers questions from the audience. The group is introduced by John Beck, professor of Human Resources and Labor Relations.
