U.S. President Donald Trump talks about streamlining the federal permit process for infrastructure projects and violence in Charlottesville, VA
U.S. President Donald Trump announces that he has signed an executive order that intends to streamline the federal permit process for infrastructure projects. Trump then answers questions from reporters on the violence in Virginia. When asked why he waited two days to specifically condemn white supremacist groups and Nazis, he responds by saying that he wanted to get all of the facts before making a statement. He also criticizes what he describes as "alt-left" groups, says that there is blame to be had on both sides and that not all of the people at the rally were neo-Nazis or white nationalists. Held at Trump Tower in New York City.
