U.S. President George W. Bush provides an update on the status of the 24 members of the American Navy air crew who are being detained in China after their plane collided with a Chinese fighter on April 1, 2001. Bush assures that all of the crew members are in good health and that they have not been mistreated but warns that U.S.-China relations will be adversely affected if China does not expedite the return of the crew members.
