U.S. Vice President Al Gore concedes the 2000 presidential election to Republican George W. Bush (R-TX). Gore states his acceptance of the outcome and pledges his support for the President-Elect. Gore thanks his supporters for sticking with him through the long election, and also thanks his running mate Senator Joe Lieberman.
