U.S. President Donald Trump attends a campaign rally for Republican congressional candidate Rick Saccone
President Trump attends a campaign rally for Republican congressional candidate Rick Saccone in a close special election in Pennsylvania. Trump talks about a wide range of issues including his new steel and aluminum tariffs, the plan to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, the Republican tax reform law, and tougher penalties for drug dealers including the death penalty. Trump calls reporters covering the speech "fake media," takes credit for the successful Olympics held in South Korea, and calls NBC newsman Chuck Todd a "sleepy son of a bitch." He takes credit for recent job reports, the corporate tax cut bill, and an anticipated expansion of steel and aluminium production in the U.S. Trump insults Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) and says his administration has done more than any first term president in history. He recounts his electoral college victory in 2016 even while losing the popular vote. Rick Saccone encourages supporters to get out the vote for him.
