U.S. President George W. Bush talks about the 2008 presidential election and government transition
President George W. Bush speaks outside the White House to discuss the 2008 Presidential election. Bush says he spoke with President-elect Barack Obama (D-IL) and promised him the cooperation of his own administration during his transition out of the White House. Bush also says he congratulated Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Governor Sarah Palin (R-AK) for their "determined campaign."
