Radio address to the nation from U.S. President Harry Truman on the Taft-Hartley bill
U.S. President Harry Truman explains his position on Taft-Hartley bill after his veto of it and his opinions of that legislation. He says that he's in favor of passing a bill to improve labor relations, but explains that he believes the Taft-Hartley bill places too many restrictions on workers and contains too many provisions that the public does not understand.
