Harry Truman speaks at the dedication of the Arnold Engineering Development Center in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He speaks about the center and its namesake, the late Henry H. Arnold, the United States Air Force, and the first anniversary of the start of the Korean War. He also characterizes the Soviet Union as an antagonist to the United States and describes the United States' actions around the world as attempts to maintain world peace and defeat Communism. Truman is introduced by Tennessee Governor Gordon Browning.
