Filmmaker Shinpei Takeda interviews Toru Uematsu, a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945
Toru Uematsu says that he was born in Peru, but went to Japan before the war started to attend. He describes the aftermath of the Hiroshima bombing and talks about the Makurazaki Typhoon which hit Japan in September, after the bombings. Uematsu also talks about staying in Hiroshima and Tokyo after the war and finally returning to Peru after Peru had again established diplomatic relations with Japan. He says that he is now the only living survivor of the atomic bombing in Peru and that once there had been four.
