Michigan State University sophomore Robert Weinstein talks about West Bloomfield, MI, family, college major, career interests, adjustment to college, and deferring to have a family
Michigan State University sophomore Robert Weinstein talks about his predominately Jewish neighborhood in West Bloomfield, MI and his family, and their support for his choice of theater as a major, and says that he aspires to run a theater company or teach theater. He claims he is realistic about the sacrifices required to "make it" in acting and sees no problem with teaching as long as he has an opportunity to be creative. Weinstein also says that he finds college to be very competitive and acting to be "emotionally dangerous". He describes his adjustment to the college social scene saying that his protected childhood really didn't prepare him for much of what he faces. Weinstein says he will defer marriage and children until he can support a family.
