President Clinton announces that Iraq has failed to allow United Nations weapons inspectors to examine weapons sites

President Bill Clinton has ordered U.S. planes to bomb weapons sites and other targets in Baghdad. He says that this is a short-range exercise that will stop before the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
