Stephanie Mathson interviews playwright Sandra Seaton
Sandra Seaton, playwright and professor of English at Central Michigan University, talks about her play "The Bridge Party" which dramatizes African-American middle class life in the South before the modern civil rights movement. She also talks about the song cycle for voice and piano from her play, "From the diary of Sally Hemings," on which she collaborated with composer William Bolcom.
