Vice President Mike Pence participates in a joint press conference with the Presidents of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador on the subject of immigration. Speaking through a translator, Guatemalan President Morales talks about the conditions of Guatemalans taken into custody at the U.S. border and the efforts to reunify families. El Salvadorian President Cerén says that his government is working with the U.S. to address the separation of immigrant families and Honduran President Hernández talks about the trafficking of drugs, arms, and humans in the Americas. Vice President Pence says that few of those leaving Central America are legitimately fleeing violence or persecution and that foreigners should "come legally or don't come at all."
