U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo testifies before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo testifies before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about President Donald Trump's meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korea Leader Kim Jong Un. Pompeo also discusses U.S. opposition to Russia's claims to Crimea, the NATO alliance, and relations with the European Union. Senator Bob Corker (R-SC) chairs the committee and characterizes the President's foreign policy as "Ready, Fire, Aim," and accuses Trump of "making it up as he goes." Ranking member Menendez (D-NJ) says Trump's statements to date have been misleading and he wants Pompeo to set the record straight.
