Interview of U.S. President Donald Trump on the CBS News show 60 minutes
President Donald Trump talks about his accomplishments and controversies surrounding his administration during his first interview on the CBS News show Sixty Minutes since he took office in 2017. Trump defends his actions on climate change, declines to say that the Saudis are to blame for the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and insists that the U.S. was headed to war with North Korea before he opened talks with that country. He also maintains that separating immigrant parents from their children deters illegal immigration, that he has accomplished more than any other President and defends his treatment of Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford. Features excerpts from Trump's rally speeches.
