President Donald Trump delivers an address on border security on day eighteen of the U.S. government shutdown. Trump argues that there is a crisis at the country's southern border that must be addressed. He also talks about his proposal to congress for compromise and says that he will accept the construction of a steel barrier rather than a wall. Trump's address to the nation is made from the Oval Office.
