On the twenty-ninth day of the U.S. government shutdown, President Donald Trump talks about his ideas for funding border security and the creation of a physical barrier along the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump says that the barrier will consist of multiple steel obstacles built in high priority areas, and that he has included suggestions from U.S. Congressional Democrats in his funding proposal in order to satisfy the opposition. Trump makes his remarks at the White House.
