An interdisciplinary panel composed of Michigan State University faculty participates in a discussion entitled, "The varieties of healing." Panelists describe their individual research and discuss the broad spectrum of health and healing practices, including those of homeopathic and science based medicine and trends in healthcare services. Panelists include Heather Howard from the MSU Department of Anthropology, Mary A. Bedikian from the MSU College of Law, William J. Chopik from the MSU Department of Psychology, and Clare Luz from the MSU Department of Family and Community Medicine. Cynthia Jackson-Elmoore, dean of the Honors College, convenes the session and moderates questions from the audience with the help of John Beck, MSU professor of Human Resources and Labor Relations.
