What's doing in Western Michigan. 1949-10
In this installment of "What's doing in Western Michigan," Dr. Willis Dunbar discusses upcoming events and recaps news from the region. Ex-Governer Kimber Sigler spoke at the Hastings Rotary Club and advocated that the governors term be extended to four years. Dr. Dunbar reports that the federal government announced they would buy up surplus apples from producers in the region, a new garment manufacturing plant is considering coming to Belding, and new athletic fields were dedicated in the towns of Burrow and Marcellus.
