History in the making. 1946-04
In an episode of "History in the making", Dr. Willis Dunbar reports on recent elections in the Soviet Union. He compares how out of every 10,000 voters in the Soviet Union, all but 3 cast a vote, while at best only 70% of registered Americans vote in elections. Dr. Dunbar describes the makeup of Soviet Unions government, its various political regions, and the election process. He points out that while much of their political process matches Americas democracy, they only have one political party; the communist party. He continues by quoting Stalin and comparing and contrasting the American and Soviet Union governments.
