What's doing in Western Michigan. 1949-05-15
In this installment of "What's doing in Western Michigan," Dr. Willis Dunbar recaps stories from newspapers around Western Michigan. He tells of the freezing temperatures threatening the fruit in local orchards and delaying the blooming of tulips. Dunbar shares the schedule for Tulip Time in Holland, and reminds listeners of what they can expect and what they should wear. He also reports that Greenville is preparing to pass a millage to help build three additional elementary schools. Bob Tazelaar reports on the lighter side of local news such as how a local woman that just gave birth now has had three out of her four children born on mothers day.
