What's doing in Western Michigan. 1949-05-29
In this installment of "What's doing in Western Michigan," Dr. Willis Dunbar reports on a variety of news stories from around the region. Dunbar describes the tulip festival that had occurred and how the Governor attended and then ran a cleanup drive to help clean the streets. He tells of the resolution in Saranac that got passed to build a new high school and how frost damage harmed strawberry crops but didn't do any damage to fruit trees. Harry Travis tells lighter stories including one in South Haven where two students came to school early and glued thumbtacks to the teachers chair.
