What's doing in Western Michigan. 1949-04-03
In this installment of "What's doing in Western Michigan," Dr. Willis Dunbar summarizes the week's news and upcoming events across Western Michigan. He reports on upcoming election where people in Charlotte will decided if they should create a pension plan for city employees, Vicksburg votes on having a Sunday prohibition, and St. Joseph County will vote on a tax levy to repair bridges. He also talks about how the Mayor of Holland is resigning to move to the west coast, and how the Mayor of South Haven installed red blinker lights to help students cross the road, and when he asked the police to do a better job enforcing it, the first person to get a ticket was his own son.
