Oral history interview with Dr. Claretta Dupree, 2021 April 22
Elizabeth Bogdan-Lovis and Karen Kelly-Blake, both with the Center for Bioethics and Social Justice at MSU, and Wendy Jiang, student at the University of Alabama Birmingham, interview Dr. Claretta Dupree, with the Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity at Trinity International University as well as former US Navy nurse, on her origin story, present day career, and what she would like to do in the future. Dr. Dupree discusses the tribulations she faced to get into the bioethics world, how the anti-black racism in the field affects her to this day, and suggests the next step should be making bioethics and social justice global.
