President Barack Obama signs the Salazar, Ken Lands Management Act. Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, discusses the history of conservation in the United States and the importance to continue protecting the landscape that defines our country. President Obama remarks on the 2 million acres this Act is preserving, such as Rocky Mountain National Park and the Badlands. Obama says this bill provides solutions to such issues as clean water conservation and aid in the economic recovery plan.
