Davis writes to Lucinda noting that he is worried she has either forgotten about him or is sick. Davis details that Ed Rogers has not received any letter from home either, and that he is concerned for he has never gone this long without a letter from Lucinda. Davis writes that he got his picture taken but will not send it until he has heard from Lucinda. He notes that part of the 18th Regiment, including his Company, went to Cleveland, Tennessee and has not yet returned. Davis concludes by noting he is in good health.
