Hamilton Davis Collection (c.00633)

Hamilton Davis, son of Arthur and Emily (Green) Davis, was born in Oakland County on 20 July 1837. He enlisted in March 1864 and served in Company F, Michigan 15th Infantry Regiment. He was killed at the battle of Atlanta on 20 July 1864 (his 27th birthday). His cousins James (son of Allan Davis) and William Davis (Son of James Davis) are also included in this collection. James Davis was born 27 October 1842 at Burns, Michigan. William Davis was born 29 October 1845 and died 20 July 1914.
