Warren Letter : April 7, 1865

Fred mentions that he was on guard duty for the first time the day before even though he has had diarrhea. He notes that he read of the Union Army taking Richmond in the newspaper and asks his parents to continue sending him papers. He received opium and camphor to treat his diarrhea but he fears it will come back.
