Transcript of interview with Patricia Carrigan
         Pat Carrigan received her bachelor’s from MSU in education and after teaching several years, attended U of M. There she studied teaching methods and skills needed to help special needs kids and emotionally disturbed children with learning disabilities. Dr. Carrigan completed her PhD at the U of M, majoring in psychology. She helped establish a local MSU Alumni Club in the Ann Arbor area, and was the first woman elected to the MSU Board of Trustees where she served as a member from 1970-1978.
