A letter from Guy Scofield to his sister Ellen. Guy assures Ellen he is well, and asks why he hasn't received any letters from home. He comments on the area he is in, saying there are Indians nearby. He closes the letter by asking whether money he has sent home has arrived there, and saying that he has helped to write a letter for a man who cant write.
