A letter to Ellen Scofield from her brother Guy, written from a hospital in Cincinnati. He tells her that he is feeling better, and doesn't feel that his mother needs to travel to see him, and gives her advice on what to do with the fall crops. Finally, he tells her that he is still waiting for his back pay, but is in good spirits.
